Well, another month has gone by and the applications for No Limits Diabetes camp, July 3rd to 9th, have been coming in hot and heavy. We are awaiting a final count of the teens from Russia, but we are ahead of last year even without that count. Some post card reminders went out and it seems that some of those already signed up got a reminder. Sorry!! Anyway, those signed up are: Kim Allred, Collin Andrisko, Nick Biever, Karli Bender, Courtney Brinkman, Noah Cummings, Colton DeJarnett, Agnes Dolzpoly, Molly Duncan, Carter Durchholz, Tamaira Harrington, Adam Jewell, Taylor Johnson, Courtney Jordan, Jordan Burke, Alex Montgomery, Hayley Payne, Jacob Phillips, Katelyn Purnell, Kelcie Reynolds, Amber Rice, Cheyenne Roux, Avree Sheren, Clint Singer, Holli Stamper, Kyla Tighe, and Alex Wilburn. I do not think that I missed anyone this time so, if your name is not here, we do not have your application.

CAMP is progressing. Staff training will be April 15th, 16th and 17th. Since there will be a lot of program changes, the staff will have a busy weekend. As much as Spring Hill’s program will permit, we hope to have the daily programs done---well, for the most part! We are pleased that Will Cross, mountain climber, has confirmed that he will spend the day at camp talking with us. Also, Dr. Lev is returning to camp. He is well known to many of our folks. Crafts has brought the gourd bird houses back. We would like to give a huge thanks to Phil and Janie Hart for providing us with 70 some gourds for this summer. We will be busy drilling the appropriate sized holes.
For those coming to camp, we could use some more of the Colored Bleach Bottles to use for buoys for the waterfront areas and day. Clear milk jugs are a little difficult to see.
Congratulations to Erin Clark, counselor at No Limits Diabetes, who has been selected to be regional captain for Insulindependence Testing Limits which should compliment the goals of No Limits Diabetes. Erin will be working with an old friend, Ben Clements.
Speaking of friends with diabetes who “test limits,” one of the divisions of Team Type 1 was in the Coppi e Bartali race in Italy. During an overnight stop, someone stole all of their equipment and bicycles resulting the team having to withdraw from the race.
